So taking time to meditate can be positive for both body and spirit. For many people, though, finding time to practice can be a challenge.
Buddhist teacher Thich Nhat Hanh suggests the following simple meditation which takes only a few minutes. In this practice, breath connects you to your body. A smile affirms your intent to live with joy, peace and awareness.
Begin my sitting comfortably with your spine as straight as possible. Take several deep breaths and repeat the following until you feel centered:
